Upgrade to Autodesk Inventor HSM Pro 2015: A Review

As a seasoned user of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, I was excited to dive into Autodesk Inventor HSM Pro 2015 and explore its new features and improvements. In this review, I will share my experiences with the latest version of HSM Pro and compare it with previous versions.

One of the first things I noticed upon installing the software is that there are still no 3-flute or 5-flute endmills available in the library, and all drills remain at a standard 118-degree angle. However, I did not attempt to edit the included libraries or add new tools to them, as they worked seamlessly without any issues.

I tested two typical parts with Autodesk Inventor HSM Pro 2015 and was pleased to find that it performed flawlessly, without any errors or glitches. The Access-driven TDB also worked as expected, making it easy to access the software's features and functions.

The guys at Geometric have done a fantastic job with this latest version of HSM Pro, and I hope they will continue to deliver high-quality products in the future. In my experience, the software was efficient and easy to use, with no major issues or bugs encountered during testing.

In comparison to previous versions of Inventor HSM, Autodesk Inventor HSM Pro 2015 offers significant improvements in terms of workflow efficiency. While there may be some minor inefficiencies in certain areas, overall I found the software to be a vast improvement over its predecessors.

If you are currently using CW4SE, I strongly recommend upgrading to Autodesk Inventor HSM Pro 2015 as soon as possible. With its improved performance and features, it is definitely worth the investment.
