As I mentioned in my review of Virtual Stupidity, I'm not exactly thrilled about Beavis and Butt-Head, but I do appreciate the subtle satire that permeates the game and its corresponding movie. However, when it comes to Beavis and Butt-Head Xmas, things take a bit of a turn for the worse.

While there are some well-executed puzzles scattered throughout the game, overall, it's an experience that's lesser, dumber, and more offensive than one would hope for. Even the animation suffers at times, with stilted dialogue and often perfunctory sentences that detract from the experience.

One notable feature of Beavis and Butt-Head Xmas is its use of widescreen scrolling, where the screens now expand beyond the edges of your monitor. However, this sometimes results in weird composition and staging issues. On a more positive note, the game does include some nice 3D rendered cutscenes that are a welcome addition to certain areas.

Graphically, Beavis and Butt-Head Xmas is a mixed bag. While it looks crisper than its predecessor, with some nicely rendered environments, other locations feel a bit sparse and unpopulated. It's clear that the game's visuals have seen some improvement, but they're still not quite up to par.

Overall, Beavis and Butt-Head Xmas is an experience that's sure to be divisive among fans of the franchise and gamers in general. While it has its moments of cleverness and wit, it's also a game that can be frustratingly dumb and offensive at times.
