Installing Skype for Business with Microsoft 365

When setting up your Microsoft 365 account, one of the essential steps is to install Skype for Business. This article will guide you through the process of installing Skype for Business and getting started.

To begin, navigate to the sign-in page at the end of these steps and choose Install to download the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including Skype for Business. If your Microsoft 365 plan includes other applications bundled with Skype for Business, you may see a different page. In this case, select Skype for Business and follow the prompts.

First, choose your language and then select the edition that matches your existing Office applications (32-bit or 64-bit). If you're unsure which version to choose, select the default option. Additionally, ask the person who purchased Microsoft 365 for your business whether they assigned a license to you.

Once you've completed these steps, go back to your Microsoft 365 page by clicking on the > Microsoft 365 button at the top of the screen. If you're unable to find the Skype for Business download in your portal, check that your Microsoft 365 for business plan includes it.
