Tomb Raider PC Walkthrough YouTube: Uncovering the Performance of the Arc A770 Graphics Card

The latest Intel Arc A770 graphics card has been put to the test, and we're here to dive into its performance capabilities. With DirectX11, the graphics card managed a respectable 40 FPS, while it delivered an impressive 80 FPS during the DirectX12 benchmark. However, YouTube celebrity Linus decided to take things further by providing a comparison between DirectX11 and DirectX12 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

This comparison allowed us to see just how much performance the Arc A770 is leaving on the table when using older APIs. Unfortunately, Intel didn't permit Linus to showcase any tier 2 games during his testing. On F1 2021 at 'highish' settings and 1440p resolution, the graphics card managed an impressive 180 FPS.

In Cyberpunk 2077, Linus estimated that the Arc A770 was pushing out between 50-60 FPS on the High preset at 1440p (2560 x 1440). It will be intriguing to see what Intel charges for its other Arc models. For comparison, the Radeon RX 6400 retails for $149.99 and outperforms the Arc A380.

The jury is still out on pricing, but Peterson enthusiastically stated that 'we're gonna kill everyone in price to performance' with tier 1 games. The list of these cherry-picked titles includes F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands 3, and Fortnite.

We've already seen some of these tier 1 titles featured in Intel-provided benchmarks for the Arc A750. With its impressive performance capabilities, it's clear that the Arc A770 is a force to be reckoned with in the world of graphics cards.
